Dynamic Web TWAIN Description

Dynamic Web TWAIN is a reliable tool designed for HTML5 Web applications for Windows and Mac. It can come in handy for smartly scanning paper documents and uploading the files straight to a central Web server.

This TWAIN-based utility allows you to develop comprehensive Web applications to acquire files scanned with TWAIN devices.

Moreover, you can implement the automatic file saving to the central server or a dedicated file system. The scan results can also be edited on the spot, before being saved.

One of the most convenient features of Dynamic Web TWAIN is that it allows you to activate the document scanning and retrieve the resulting files right from your browser.

Thus, you do not need to install third party applications or extensions, simply access the app online.

Several editing functions can be created, such as crop, flip, rotate and you may easily save the files in a large variety of formats.

Additionally, you can develop Web apps with derived functions, such as barcode readers, that trigger other files, URLs or programs to open.

The tool enables you to build applications supported by HTML5 compliant browsers. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera or Safari are a few examples. Moreover, you can build support for both 32-bit/64-bit browsers and systems.

The supported languages include JavaScript, JQuery, VBScript, HTML5 and HTML for the client side apps, plus ASP.NET (C# or VB.NET), PHP, JSP or ASP for server side apps. IIS, Tomcat, Apache are examples of the supported storage systems.

Dynamic Web TWAIN does not feature a size limit regarding the volume of files your apps can process. You can thus integrate the Auto Document Feeder with multiple image acquisition functions.

Other features that you can implement in your application include support for duplex scanning mode, image preview, blank page detection.

Both Native and Disk File Image transfer modes can be used alternatively or you may select standard/secure HTTP/FTP protocols for downloading/uploading the files.
