DirRplacer Description
DirRplacer is a small software utility designed to help you replace files inside of a directory with the contents of another folder. If you are frequently editing different documents (e.g. DOCX, plain text) and store them in a separate location, this tool may help you replace the old files with new ones on the go.
The user interface is straightforward and you should get used to working with this application pretty quickly. It’s very easy to work with this tool since there aren’t many configuration settings. Things are kept as simple as possible and you don’t need special tutorials or a help menu to understand how this app functions.
The app allows users to add multiple directory replacement paths and to select the one they want to replace. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support batch processing which means you cannot replace the contents of several folders into the same time.
You can add new directory paths to the list using the built-in browse function and before carrying out the replacement process you must specify the folder that will replace the previously selected location. The app works fast and no errors showed up during our testing.
The program also includes an editing feature which helps users perform several changes. You may pick another destination directory and select the replacement folder. It is also possible to remove the selected entries from the main window of the app and you can save the replacement commands in a BAT format.
To sum up, DiRplacer is a pretty useful application that replaces the old files inside of a directory with new ones.
