Digital Media Converter Pro Description

Digital Media Converter Pro is a program that enables you to turn media files into multiple file types, including WMV, 3GP, FLV, SWF, MPG, OGG and WAV. But it can also prepare items for Apple, BlackBerry, Windows, Nokia and Samsung, among other platforms.

The interface of the app appears complicated at a first glance but Digital Media Converter Pro is actually pretty simply to handle.

Importing media files can be done with the help of either the file browser or ‘drag and drop’ function. Working with multiple items at the same time is possible.

The file queue displays the name, duration, audio and video properties, along with the selected range, output type and status of each entry. If you are satisfied with the default settings, then you can immediately start the conversion procedure after establishing the output extension and directory.

Otherwise, you can tinker with the audio and video settings when it comes to the compressor, frame rate, bit rate, dimension, frequency, channel mode and bit rate. Options can be restored to their default values.

In addition, you can create playlists, split files, make image adjustments (e.g. brightness, contrast), apply video effects (e.g. grayscale, mirror) and attempt to repair broken files. From the ‘Settings’ area you can force audio and video synchronization, add a blank video when converting audio to video, make the app automatically turn off the computer after conversion and configure proxy settings.

The media conversion tool quickly finishes a task while using a pretty high amount of system resources. It includes a help file and has a good response time. No errors have been displayed in our tests and Digital Media Converter Pro did not freeze or crash. The output media files have a fair image and sound quality.
