CPUEater Description

CPU Eater is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help you apply benchmark tests in order check out how your computer responds to a load upon all system CPUs. The program is designed for testing Process Lasso‘s ProBalance technology. However, you can use it for testing the overall system responsiveness.

Portable running mode and clean looks

You can take advantage of the tool’s portability status and keep it stored on USB flash drives or other devices. You only need to run the executable file in order to access its features because you do not have to follow the steps included in an installation process.

CPU Eater sports a straightforward design that integrates all configuration settings into a single panel. There’s no support for a help manual, only some instructions are revealed directly in the main window.

Set up benchmarks with minimal effort

The application gives you the possibility to view how Process Lasso’s ProBalance algorithm acts in case it detects high CPU usage. If Process Lasso is not active, your PC may freeze during tests. It is recommended to wait until the end of the benchmark because the system gets back to its normal state without having to perform any special tweaks.

CPU Eater shows a bar in the main window which reveals your system responsiveness. What’s more, you are allowed to start or stop the process, specify the runtime, set up the total number of threads, as well as select the desired CPUs.

Easy-to-use CPU tester, even for inexperienced users

All things considered, CPU Eater provides a straightforward software solution for helping you launch threads in the background that eat up CPU. The intuitive feature pack makes it easy to configure by rookies and professionals alike. We haven’t experienced any compatibility issues with the latest Windows version in our tests.
