Close Call is a lightweight piece of software, designed to help you keep track of all your friends, acquaintances and business associates. It features a minimalistic but slightly outdated user interface.
Add contacts, sort them and search for information
The application allows you to add any number of entries, containing important information. You can specify the contact’s name, address, city, state, postal code, e-mail address, phone number and website. Additionally, you can organize the created contacts into multiple categories.
You can also insert various notes, to remember specific details about a particular person. These are dated, allowing you to, for example, schedule activities that you need to perform with your friends.
Once you have added a number of contacts, you can sort them based on their personal information, as well as search for specific terms throughout the entire database.
As an added feature, the application enables you to crate and print envelopes using information extracted from specific contacts.
Backup, restore and repair the database
To avoid losing important data for various reasons, Close Call can create a backup copy of your contact database and save it to a ZIP file.
You can then restore data from one of the created archives, should the current database become corrupted. The program also offers a repair utility, which can scan for and repair any discovered issues.
