ClickyMouse Free Edition Description
This is the free edition of ClickyMouse – a feature-rich software application that provides tools for recording and playing macros with customized properties.
The installation procedure takes little time to finish and does not require special attention from the user. The interface has a well-organized structure where you can organize macros into groups.
It is possible to create as many macros as you want. Properties include the name, description, playback speed, repeat time, and mouse event trigger (e.g. button click, shake horizontally).
As far as commands and system variables are concerned, you can send key strokes, insert comments and date/time stamps, input logical data structures (e.g. wait, if..else), show messages, open web pages, and so on.
Plus, you can use a search and replace function, remove multiple timing or mouse move commands, enable word wrapping, import macros (from file or Clipboard) as well as save them to file for further modifications. Log details are recorded to file.
ClickyMouse offers multilingual support, has a good response time and runs on a very low amount of CPU and RAM, so it does not put a strain on computer performance or interrupt normal user activity. We have not encountered any problems throughout our evaluation.
ClickyMouse Standard Edition unlocks extra features, such as macro export to HTML format, GUI password protection, status bar, and the ability to disable macros and macro groups. The full power of the program can be seen in the professional version, where you can enable AES encryption for macro files to protect content, as well as generate a “Free Macro Player”” file that can be used by other people freely, just to name a few features.
All in all, ClickyMouse Free Edition is a pretty resourceful application when it comes to recording and playing macros, and it should particularly please advanced users.
