Bing Wallpaper Manager Description

Every Bing Image of the Day tends to be wallpaper-worthy, so the website is always a good place to check if you are looking for a new desktop background.

Bing Wallpaper Manager is a small, open-source application that lets you browse through the Bing gallery from your desktop, save all the images locally and easily set any of them as your wallpaper.

Requires no installation and saves images automatically

Once you have downloaded the application, you only need to unpack the archive and run the executable file. The most recent Bing wallpapers will be downloaded automatically, and more will be grabbed as you navigate through them.

You can find all the saved wallpapers in the root folder, should you wish to delete some of them or move them to a different location. However, you can’t manage them from the app itself.

The application features a modern, minimalistic interface, allowing you to view the downloaded images without distractions. All the buttons are transparent, and you can set pictures as your desktop background with a single mouse click.

Bing Wallpaper Manager does not offer any other features, such as multiple viewing modes, an option to have it run at system startup or the ability to change your wallpaper every day automatically.

Simple app that shows promise, but could use some more features

All in all, this program provides you with a great alternative to browsing the Bing homepage whenever you want to find some interesting wallpapers. It features an impressive user interface that focuses on letting you view the images without distractions, and it is very easy to use.

However, Bing Wallpaper Manager offers a very limited feature set at present, although it is worth noting that it is still in the early stages of development.
