AutoQueue Description

AutoQueue is designed for XML script recording, providing JavaScript developers with a simple means of implementing an automatic system to perform repeated browser actions. It comes in handy for generating test scripts, creating thumbnails and reports.

Simple looks and detailed instructions

The interface of AutoQueue provides one-click access to all its options and encases a comprehensive ‘Help’ section that describes what each area is designed for. It is highly advisable that you go through the explanations before recording your first script.

By default, the application is configured to make use of website targeted API, but you are free to add your own API to the list and change the settings to use JavaScript. The supported web browsers include some of the major players, namely Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Record scripts and generate reports

To start recording a script you must specify the web address of your project. AutoQueue records your actions in the opened browser instance and tells you when it’s time to proceed to the next by displaying a small snapshot icon at the screen bottom.

The recorded script can be saved locally and then used for report generation. Scripts can be manually edited using a set of predefined commands, but note that basic programming knowledge is required to do so.

Reports created by AutoQueue are in the form of a PowerPoint presentation and a HTML file with conclusive screenshots and accompanying titles.

Verify your web app for errors

AutoQueue can be a valuable tool for experienced JavaScript developers, enabling them to automate browser-related tasks.

It can record scripts via a browser, helping you test the performance and consistency of a web app and then create reports to reflect page status, check page order and verify action results.
