All2WAV Recorder is a very simple Windows tool that can be used to record sounds from your audio card.
Once installed and launched, the application launches a small wizard that guides you throughout the main options of a recording session.
You are thus prompted to choose one of the three sources for the new recording, namely a media file, a URL or another application.
Depending on the option you choose, you are required to input either an audio file, an URL or an application to record the sound, but also to define the output WAV quality and the destination folder.
The main window of the application comprises everything you need to control your recording, including the typical record, pause, stop and play button, a volume and balance controller.
You can also change the source and the device being used, but also listen to your recording.
It’s pretty obvious that All2WAV Recorder appeals to all user categories, and although its options are fairly intuitive, a help section is also available to lend a hand whenever it’s needed. It still lacks some essential tools, such as keyboard shortcuts that could come in very handy whenever you are trying to start a new recording on the go.
On the good side, All2WAV Recorder doesn’t hamper system performance in any way and it can be used on all Windows iterations released so far.
This means that All2WAV Recorder is indeed a helpful product if you’re trying to record the sound that goes through your audio card, although it’s pretty clear that it still needs a bunch of improvements.
