ActCAD Standard Description

ActCAD Standard is an advanced software solution that allows to design and edit CAD projects in a user-friendly environment and without having an extensive knowledge in using this type of programs.

Includes a well-organized and intuitive interface

Following a quick and straightforward installation, you are welcomed by a feature-rich and extensive GUI. While comprehensive, the interface is neatly organized, clean and user-friendly, so it is unlikely that you can encounter any issues getting around.

As you probably hinted, the viewing area takes the most of the UI and features zooming, an option that allows you to check out your building plan to the very detail. It is worth mentioning that the interface also includes a toolbar that allows you to access objects, drawing and converter tools seamlessly. In addition, the app works with both vector and raster images so that you can access the completed project via other applications as well.

Comes with an advanced, yet user-friendly set of utensils

The program includes a plethora of drawing and design tools that allow you to create 2D and 3D schematics from scratch. Among the functions that you can use to create your first project, you can count image manager, XREF manager, snapshot tools, meshes, layer lock, freeze or match and isolate, just to name a few.

Unlike ActCAD Professional, the Standard version does not permit you to create or edit 3D solid models or import ACIS 3D Solids .sat files. Moreover, the tool lacks several features, such as the Drawing Auditor for Batch file auditing, In-built raster to vector converter, Point Cloud Data Import and the extensive 5000 in-build block library.

A handy tool for designing building designs and schematics

All in all, ActCAD Standard is an easy to use application that enables you to create drafts, sketches and models of bridges, buildings or other types of structures you are designing or improving.
