AVI Joiner Description
AVI Joiner is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title – it allows you to merge together video tracks with the AVI format.
The interface of the program is plain and simple to work with. Video clips can be imported into the list by using either the file browser or the “drag and drop” method.
In the list you can check out the name, duration, type, frame size and rate, sampling rate and source path of each video.
Right after you click the “Join files” button, you can specify the output destination and name, and proceed with the merging process.
But you can also join videos with compression and configure output settings when it comes to the frame size, frame rate and resize method, as well as audio and video compression. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.
In addition, you can preview the source videos in the default media player, arrange items in the list and clear the queue, as well as save the project for further editing.
The video merging software requires a very low amount of system resources, includes a very short help file for beginners and quickly finishes a task without freezing, crashing or displaying errors. On the other hand, AVI Joiner doesn’t actually have features that stand out in any way and the interface needs some improvements, since it’s outdated. We mostly recommend AVI Joiner to novices.
