SharePort Plus is a simple and easy to use application designed to help you easily setup a connection between your PC and any USB device in your network.
Straightforward interface and fast configuration
The main interface is simple, clean and well-organized, displaying a complete list of all the available USB devices and device servers detected on the network, together with their name, type, status, model, as well as the corresponding host name, IP and Ethernet addresses. This includes audio devices, shared printers and scanners, storage devices, web cameras and so on.
Connecting to one of these devices is just a matter of a button’s push. The USB devices becomes available to your computer as if the connection was direct. Once you finish using the device, just press the ‘Disconnect’ button to interrupt the connection.
Send disconnection requests to get access to a device
One of its advantages is that it can automatically set up a connection when you want to use a USB printer and disconnects it once the print job is finished. Thus, you don’t have to do this manually every time you want to print something.
When trying to access a occupied USB device, you can easily send a remote message to the user that occupies it. If the disconnection request is accepted, SharePort Plus automatically passes the right of use to your PC. You can set the refresh time interval and instruct SharePort Plus to automatically connect newly discovered USB devices. Optionally, a confirmation popup message is displayed when disconnecting a device.

It can help you manually search for devices that are connected to other IP subnets, which comes in handy if you are dealing with a large network.
