AntiDupl.NET can be used for scanning large image collections in order to detect duplicate pictures and have them removed from your computer. Its benefits are related to the extra storage space you obtain by removing dupes from the hard drive.
The content level comparison ensures a higher accuracy of the search results, since the application does not only show you files that have the same name, but also similar images.
The found results can be previewed side by side, for visual comparison purposes. The application displays all the pair of images in a structured table, along with their locations, dimensions, type, size, modification date and other details.
You are offered various options for managing each situation. As such, you can delete an image, replace one picture with the other or mark the result as a mistake, thus keeping both files. These actions can also be run for multiple image pairs at once.
